How can my university join ZambiaFiles?
Universities can join ZambiaFiles by completing the University Membership application form on this page. Our team will review your application and contact you within 5 business days to discuss the partnership details and next steps. There is no fee to join as a contributing institution.
What types of content can be reported?
You can report any content that violates our guidelines, including copyright infringement, plagiarized materials, inappropriate content, factually incorrect information, or broken/inaccessible resources. Use the Report Content form to provide details about the issue, and our moderation team will review it promptly.
What qualifications are needed to become a moderator?
We look for individuals with subject matter expertise, academic background, attention to detail, and commitment to maintaining high-quality educational resources. While specific qualifications vary by subject area, all moderators should have at least a bachelor's degree in their field of expertise and be able to dedicate at least 1-3 hours per week to moderation activities.
How do I submit my own educational resources?
Individual contributors can submit educational resources through their user account after registration. Simply log in, navigate to "My Resources," and click on "Submit New Resource." You'll need to provide metadata about your content, upload the files, and agree to our content sharing policy. All submissions are reviewed before publication.
What are the benefits of university membership?
University members receive a dedicated institutional profile, batch uploading capabilities, enhanced visibility for their research and publications, custom analytics on resource usage, priority support, and opportunities for collaborative projects with other member institutions. Members also help shape the future of Zambia's digital education landscape.
How long does the moderation process take?
Content moderation typically takes 3-5 business days for standard submissions. For large batches of content from institutional partners, the timeframe may be longer and will be communicated during the submission process. Reported content is typically reviewed within 48 hours of submission.
